$2+ million for local road upgrades 🚶♀️🚲
Thanks to funding from the Australian and Victorian Governments, we’re improving our streets with a strong focus on safety for people walking and riding.
What’s being funded?
➡️ Inkerman Street Safe Travel Corridor
➡️ Beacon Road Active Transport Upgrade, Port Melbourne
➡️ Mitford Street and Dickens Street Roundabout, Elwood
➡️ Intersection of McGregor, Danks and Patterson Streets, Middle Park
These upgrades will improve conditions for all road users and help create safer streets for our community.

Be a purr-fect owner, keep your cat safe and cared for 🐾
We’re hosting a responsible cat ownership drop-in session for current and future owners to get free advice, practical tips and advice on how to be a great cat parent.
📆 Saturday 20 June
⏰ 10 am to 1:30 pm
📍 Port Melbourne Library
Activities on the day include:
🐱 A presentation from a certified animal behaviourist, with practical, tailored advice
🐱 A chance to meet Tom from the City of Port Phillip Animal Management team and learn about local programs
🐱 Information on why desexing and registering your cat is important
🐱 The opportunity to ask questions and get advice from local experts
While we're excited to hear everything about your feline friends, this is a human-only event - let your cat snooze in the sun at home, but please feel free to bring photos.

Understanding the Manosphere: A practical workshop for parents and carers 🌏💻
The “manosphere” is a collection of online spaces that discuss masculinity. While some content may seem harmless, parts can promote harmful ideas about relationships, gender, and identity.
This workshop helps you understand what young people are seeing — and how to respond with confidence.
