📣2027 ENROLMENTS ARE OPEN📣

🌿🍞 From Garden to Plate! 🍞🌿

Our year 5 and 6 students recently enjoyed a delicious hands-on learning experience by making their own flatbread and homemade dips using fresh ingredients harvested from our school garden. Students made hummus, parsley pesto, beetroot raita, carrot and spice dip and cucumber, herb, and yoghurt dip.

Students picked herbs and produce from the garden before working together to prepare a variety of tasty dips and freshly made flatbreads. They then had the opportunity to share their creations with their cohort and teachers, proudly showcasing the results of their hard work.

This activity helped students develop food preparation skills, explore where food comes from, and experience the joy of growing, harvesting, preparing, and sharing food with others.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful garden-to-table experience possible! 🌱🥒🫑🥕
