For the past eight years, Genesis Foundation has been working tirelessly to create meaningful and sustainable change in the lives of marginalized and vulnerable communities across Bangladesh.

Through our Education, Emergency Response, Environment and Empowerment Programmes, we have expanded access to education, strengthened climate resilience, supported livelihoods, responded to emergencies and empowered individuals to build a better future.

Every initiative, every project and every success story reflects our unwavering commitment to serving communities with integrity, compassion and purpose.

As we celebrate our 8th Anniversary, we proudly look back on the impact we have created together and the lives we have touched along the way. At the same time, we look forward with renewed determination and a stronger commitment to continue driving positive change, creating opportunities and building a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable Bangladesh.

সাদামাটা আবহে অফিসের উদযাপিত হলো জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশনের অষ্টম প্রতিষ্ঠাবার্ষিকী। অনুষ্ঠানে আমাদের অতীত ও বর্তমান কার্যক্রম নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়।

সমাজের ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনতে আমাদের প্রতিটি সদস্য প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ। আমাদের আট বছরের যাত্রার অবদান রাখা সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা।

জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশনের যাত্রা শুরু হয়েছিল সুবিধাবঞ্চিত এতিমখানার শিশুদের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর মাধ্যমে। এরপর থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত আমরা দেশের শিক্ষা, কর্মসংস্থান, পরিবেশ এবং জরুরি ত্রাণ সহায়তা ইত্যাদি নানা সেক্টরে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রেখে চলছি।

প্রতিষ্ঠাকালীন স্মৃতিকে ধারণ করেই প্রতিবছরের মতো আজ একটি এতিমখানার শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে সময় কাটানোর এবং খাবারের ব্যবস্থা করার মধ্যে দিয়েই জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশন পদার্পণ করলো অষ্টম বর্ষে।

একদিকে দীর্ঘস্থায়ী নানা প্রজেক্ট বাস্তবায়ন এবং অন্যদিকে মানবিক নানা কর্মকান্ডে অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে সামনে এগিয়ে যেতে আমরা বদ্ধপরিকর। আমাদের এই যাত্রায় পাশে থাকা সকল শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদের প্রতি রইলো কৃতজ্ঞতা।

সবুজে ঘেরা একটি সুন্দর ও বাসযোগ্য পৃথিবী গড়ে তুলতে বৃক্ষরোপণের বিকল্প নেই। একটি গাছ শুধু পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষা করে না, এটি বিশুদ্ধ বাতাস নিশ্চিত করে, জীববৈচিত্র্য সংরক্ষণ করে এবং ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ পৃথিবী গড়ে তুলতে সহায়তা করে।

এই লক্ষ্যকে সামনে রেখে জুন থেকে জুলাই মাসব্যাপী জেনেসিস ফাউন্ডেশন শহর ও গ্রামাঞ্চলে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি পরিচালনা করছে। পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ, বায়ুদূষণ হ্রাস এবং মানুষের জীবনমান উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে এ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।

আসুন, আমরা সবাই এই সবুজ আন্দোলনের অংশ হই। একটি গাছ লাগিয়ে পরিবেশ রক্ষা, সুস্থ জীবন নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং টেকসই ভবিষ্যৎ বিনির্মাণে অবদান রাখি। প্রকৃতির প্রতি দায়িত্বশীল হই, বৃক্ষরোপণের মাধ্যমে ভবিষ্যৎকে আরও সবুজ ও সুন্দর করে তুলি।
