The Philippine Embassy led by Ambassador Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga held a Flag Ceremony in commemoration of the National Refugee Day on 22 June 2026. Personnel wore blue as a symbol of solidarity with refugees, forcibly displaced persons, and stateless individuals, and in support of the observance of World / National Refugee Day.

The message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and viewing of the commemorative video marked the special occasion.

The Philippines stands and commits to continue rebuilding lives, restoring dignity, and creating pathways to hope.
