Property tax notices were mailed May 29 and payments are due soon. If you haven’t received your bill yet, please contact 311 to request a copy.

To avoid a 5% penalty, make sure your 2026 property taxes are paid by June 30. You can also sign up for the Monthly Tax Payment Plan (MTPP) to spread payments out over the year.

Airdrie, Sully’s is BACK!

Born and built in Airdrie, Sully’s is officially back downtown where they began and ready to bring skate culture home. Owner Brandon saw a real need for a skate shop in Airdrie and to reduce barriers so local youth can grow in the sport that taught him so much.

Thanks to a long-standing friendship with the owner of Addictive Ink Inc. you can now find Sully’s in a shared space where they originally started their journey in 2003. This unique collab is adding energy and creativity to downtown and we’re excited to see what they’ll get up to.

Sully’s isn’t wasting time and is already bringing Go Skate Day back to Airdrie. Join them at Chinook Winds Skatepark on June 21 from 12pm to 5pm!

Recently, VINCOVI Technology Solutions hosted a practical AI session at the Airdrie Public Library, giving local businesses a clear look at how AI is already shaping how they operate and compete. From starting with tools they already use, to identifying simple tasks to automate, to putting the right safeguards in place, there were tangible, real-world takeaways.

That same week, at a Chamber event, we heard from BDC’s Chief Economist that AI adoption among small and medium-sized businesses will be imperative to future growth. BDC is now supporting this through its LIFT program which is helping businesses take the next step with advisory support and financing.

It’s encouraging to see this kind of momentum locally. When local businesses lead on learning and innovation, it builds capacity, supports growth, and strengthens the entire local economy.
