Please join the Township of North Glengarry on Monday, June 22, at 5:30pm for a Committee of Adjustment Hearing, a Public Meeting of Planning, followed by a Regular Meeting of Council.

📍This meeting will be held in person at the Township of North Glengarry's Municipal Office located at 3720 County Road 34 in Alexandria, all are welcome.

Good Friday morning, everyone. Due to the rain today and a predicted thunderstorm this afternoon, we have decided to CANCEL the Market today for everyone's safety.

No fishing licence this Father's Day weekend? No problem! The Province of Ontario is offering licence-free fishing to all Canadian residents this Saturday and Sunday. Today’s the day!! Come out for a great event supporting Fondation HGMH Foundation

What's up this weekend in North Glengarry 🌞

The Fondation HGMH Foundation Community BBQ starts at 12pm today. The event goes from 12 PM to 10 PM with live music starting at 3PM. $10 entry fee is part of what will be given to the Foundation.

🛍The Maxville Community Market is on today from 2pm - 6pm at King George Park. Come support your local vendors.

🛍The Maxville Sidewalk Sale runs from 8am-3pm on Saturday. The Maxville & District Chamber of Commerce has 17 tables available to rent or bring your own table and set up free of charge all up and down Main Street! In the park, there will be a BBQ by the Maxville Firefighters Association, live music from 12-3pm, cotton candy, lemonade, iced coffee, and other beverages, and more! Waikato will be offering pizza by the slice starting at noon - and Sadie & June will be offering 10% off their giftshop starting at 8am.

🔨Smith-in at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum this Saturday. Blacksmiths from across Ontario & Quebec unite at the museum for demonstrations making everything from knives and musket barrels to hooks and hinges. Vendors onsite, children's activities and food for sale. Bring the whole family!

🍿Movie Night will be held at the Dunvegan Recreation Association Hall, 19053 County Road 24, on Saturday at 7 pm & will feature "A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood". Popcorn & cookies are provided however cash donations at the door towards DRA programming are gratefully accepted.

🥞The Maxville Firefighters Association is hosting a Father's Day breakfast from 9am - 1pm at the Maxville Sports Complex.
