Guess what we have back in stock, our beloved biscuit oven! Biscuit ovens are an incredible tool to use on either a fireplace or an outdoor fire. Have you taken a cooking class at the Park House? Chances are you have made some delicious bread, cookies, cakes, or other treats using a biscuit oven. This oven works by taking the heat from the source of the fire and reflecting it back on the items inside of it, giving you a nice even cooking surface in lieu of an oven!
Perfect for camping, or doing cooking demonstrations.
Available at the museum today!

Thank you so much to GEM Home Rennovations for completing another project on the historic house! Thanks to you, phase 1 is complete in the kitchen! As part of our upgrades, the museum has screened in an exterior door in the historic kitchen so that it can be opened allowing airflow, meaning we can host cooking experiences much more comfortably in the summer months! Our next step will be replacing the door with a Dutch door for further safety measures.
Please note: this is NOT and has never been an emergency exit, our historic kitchen already has two emergency exist, this was to make our cooking experineces much more pleasant!
