Today we gathered for the Annual General Meetings of Camphill Foundation Canada and Camphill Communities Ontario—a special celebration during Camphill Communities Ontario’s 40th anniversary year.
We were proud to recognize staff celebrating 5, 10, and 15 years of service, and to present the Terry Kirk Award to Allan Kuhn for his outstanding commitment to Camphill’s values and his dedication as a teacher, mentor, and ambassador for our community and the wider Camphill movement.
The day was made even more special by sharing a delicious meal together. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the people who make our community so extraordinary.

Camphill Communities Ontario was honoured to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Ripple of Kindness this past weekend.
We are incredibly grateful to have been a recipient of a Ripple of Kindness donation in 2020 and to witness the amazing impact this organization continues to have throughout our community.
Over the past 10 years, Ripple of Kindness has:
🤍 Made 35 donations
🤍 Grown to over 350 members
🤍 Donated more than ONE MILLION dollars back into the community
Thank you for spreading kindness, generosity, and hope, and for supporting organizations like Camphill along the way. Congratulations on this incredible milestone and on the countless lives you have touched over the past decade. We can’t wait to see the ripple continue for many years to come.

What a fantastic day at the Power of Belonging Symposium at Casino Rama Resort!
Camphill’s Self-Advocates joined others from across Simcoe County for a day of learning, connection, and meaningful conversations about belonging, self-advocacy, and celebrating strengths.
We are especially proud of Jamie for sharing his experiences and presenting about the importance of meaningful employment. His confidence and advocacy inspired everyone in attendance.
Thank you to the organizers and presenters for such an empowering event — we look forward to next year!

A huge thank you to the RBC team and their families for spending Friday with us in the garden at Camphill Communities Ontario!
It was wonderful to see everyone out enjoying the beautiful weather while helping us plant for the season ahead. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to get your hands dirty made a meaningful difference to our community and to the individuals we support.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and community spirit. We are so grateful for your support and for choosing to spend your day with us.
❤️ Thank you, RBC, for helping our community grow—literally and figuratively!

Thank you to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147 - Barrie for their generous donation!
This morning, Barrie Legion Public Relations Officer Steve Glover dropped into to the Barrie office of The Camphill Foundation to drop off a $5,000 cheque donation from the Barrie Catch the Ace Lottery!
The AGCO when providing CTA Licenses expects those who run and benefit from conducting Catch the Ace lotteries to contribute back into our community.
In the photo here are Larry Palmer, Camphill Executive Director, Kathrine Killam, Director of Development, Legion PRO Steve Glover and Carson Lutz, Director of Operations.
Camphill maintains several properties in Barrie and in Simcoe County where they support community living for adults with developmental disabilities. Over the past few lotteries, the Barrie CTA Lottery has been able to donate $12,000 to Camphill in support of their programs.
Again, we could not make this happen without your support for the Barrie Catch the Ace Lottery.
We Thank You!

A huge thank you to the Rotaract Club from Barrie for spending Saturday, May 23rd volunteering at Camphill Communities Ontario!
This incredible group dedicated their day to painting one of our homes, and they did an absolutely amazing job. Their hard work, positive energy, and generosity made such a meaningful impact on our community.
We are so grateful for their continued support over the years and truly appreciate the time and care they bring each time they visit. We hope to welcome them back again in the future!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our homes brighter and more beautiful. 💙
