Supporting Canadian manufacturing, protecting local jobs, and advocating for practical policy changes - today Mayors across Simcoe County came together in support of Mayor Richard Norcross’ Canada North Vehicles initiative.

Mayor Norcross invited me to join him in signing the directive. I sat down excited to sign, then realized he hadn’t signed — so I turned to him - mike on - and asked “are you sure you don’t want to sign fist”.

The laughter that followed captured exactly what today was about: collaboration, partnership, determination and leaders working together for our communities.

We are stronger together
