Hey Pictou!
Have you ever been interested in trying out various weights, wheel or water equipment? Keep your eye out for the 'Come Try Rec' flag along the waterfront on the dates below.
Beginning this Saturday, June 11 - Wheels It! There will be numerous pieces of equipment with wheels, helmets supplied. Drop by and let us know what you're interested in trying out.
June 22 - Come try a CrossFit session, this is an introduction to crossFit, where you learn the basics of functional movements and working out with weights.
June 25 - You may want to take a towel for this session because we're gonna be out on the water; although, hopefully you don't take a plunge into the harbour, you must feel comfortable in and around the water in order to try this one out. Everyone is required to wear a life jacket if using water equipment.
Comment below what you're excited for. These events are part of Pictou's Community Better Challenge. Help make Pictou the most active community in Canada! Download the app, log your moves and win prizes.
