generous donation to the CACL. The donation is from the proceeds of their Casino Night held on September 21.

We will be hosting Social-ish Groups at The People's Place: Antigonish Town and County Library on Tuesday's from 6:00pm-7:00pm
This group is intended to provide a space for neurodiverse individuals to socialize, participate in the community, and have fun in a safe, inclusive setting.
Engaging in these groups creates opportunities to make friends, can help build confidence, independence, autonomy and provide members with a sense of belonging.

Activities could include: board game night, art and crafts, music, cooking and more!

Each week will be a different age group; the age group is a "suggested age". For example, If you feel your 12 year old or 18 year old would fit in better with the teen group that is fine.

Please let us know if you plan to attend the social event so we are certain to have enough supplies for everyone; siblings that fall into the age range are welcome to attend as well or a support friend.
