On my lunch break today, the Carlyle & District Food Bank and their incredible volunteers helped me restock the Library.
Our after-school snack station is now full, our Community Snack Hamper is brimming, and our FREE dried goods/pulse crop shelves are happily heaping.
We are incredibly lucky to have this service in our community. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to come down and take what you would use!
(I would also like to recognize South East Research Farm as they generously provide the Food Bank with these pulse crops)

One of the many services impacted by Census information is your local library! It affects our funding levels, what community programming we do, and long-term infrastructure planning.
We are a small piece of a larger puzzle, and many thanks are given to the Town of Arcola for trying to rectify this issue for us all.
📢 ARCOLA CENSUS OPEN HOUSE 📢
We understand life gets busy and finding time to complete the census isn't always easy. That's why we're hosting a Census Open House on:
Thursday, June 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Optimist Legion Hall (103 Souris Street).
Council members will be there to answer questions and explain why an accurate census is so important for funding, services, and the future of our community.

You asked, and we listened! To make browsing for your next read easier, we've sorted the adult fiction books into genres.
If you have more ideas about what would make your library experience better, we'd love to hear from you!
