With summer here, now's a good time to make sure you're set up for the unexpected. Two simple things you can do today:
๐ฑ Set up your BC Services Card app. If you're ever evacuated, this is what lets you register as an evacuee and access supports, including e-transfer for eligible costs. You can still self-register without it, but supports may be more limited and won't come by e-transfer. Setup takes about five minutes.
๐จ Download Alertable. It's a free app that sends real-time emergency notifications for our area โ wildfire, flood, severe weather, evacuation alerts. The faster you know, the more time you have to act.
Both can be set up in about ten minutes total. Worth doing today while you're thinking about it.

The boil water advisory in place since June 12th for the South Local Area Service has been rescinded.
Interior Health put the boil water advisory in place in an abundance of caution as crews responded to a watermain break in the South Local Area Service (LAS). The South LAS includes the Eagle Rock and Larkin water systems.
