Sometimes, feelings show up loud, fast, or all at once, which can feel overwhelming.
It can help to remind your child that feelings change and move, just like the weather.
Try saying: “This feels really big right now, but it won’t feel this way forever.” That gentle reminder can help calm them down while they work through their emotions.
