🌱 Youth Mental Wellness Workshop 🌱
Join us for an evening focused on building skills for mental wellness in a supportive and creative space.
📅 Monday, June 29
🕡 6:30 – 8:30 PM
📍 Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association
Youth ages 13–20 who are impacted by Epilepsy are welcome to attend.

This in-person workshop will explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Youth will learn practical strategies to help navigate challenging thoughts and emotions in everyday life.
Participants will also take part in a hands-on activity by creating their own “Thought Bank” — a personalized space to store positive thoughts, reminders, and coping strategies. We’ll be decorating and customizing each bank, making it both meaningful and fun.
This session is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and build tools for wellbeing in a welcoming environment.

Spring is a great time to refresh our routines and focus on wellness at a pace that feels right for you.
For those in our community, spring wellness can mean getting back outside for gentle movement, re establishing routines after the winter months, prioritizing rest, and checking in with how you’re feeling physically and emotionally. Small changes like enjoying fresh air, staying hydrated, keeping consistent sleep schedules, and managing stress can all support overall wellbeing.
Remember, wellness looks different for everyone. Be kind to yourself, listen to your body, and celebrate the steps, big or small, that help you feel your best this season.
Wishing our community a healthy, hopeful spring. If you would like to learn more about our programs email us at [email protected]
