This month, we're highlighting a program that could help you become a homeowner: Habitat for Humanity's Affordable Home Ownership Program. 🏠

Here's how it works:
- No down payment required
- Affordable monthly mortgage payments
- Mortgage is based on 50% of the home's appraised value
- Volunteer 500 hours with Habitat (including financial courses) to qualify

Habitat builds homes in family-friendly communities and sells them to qualifying homeowners.

In 1970, Civida started as the Edmonton Housing Authority with one goal — to provide safe, affordable housing for people who need it.

A lot has changed since then. We’ve grown, changed our name, and served thousands of Edmontonians across hundreds of communities.

Today, we manage 5,300+ homes across 130+ sites and help 27,000+ people access affordable housing.

We are thankful for the opportunity to serve Edmontonians and excited about what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of our community!

132 new homes are being built in the Keheewin neighbourhood in South Edmonton. 🏠

Kaskitêw Asiskî will include:
- Affordable, community, and market rental suites
- Community spaces
- Parking
- A walkway to Keheewin Park

Every suite is designed to be accessible and welcoming for people of all ages and abilities.
Construction is expected to finish in 2027.
