Today we celebrate the graduation of 33 new constables, two police canines, and one Lacombe Police Service constable.

Recruit Training Class 165 represents the diversity of our city — six women and 28 men who collectively speak more than 10 languages. These new officers come from Edmonton and surrounding communities, as well as provinces across Canada and 10 countries around the world.

Together, they bring an impressive mix of skills, education, and experience — and most importantly, a shared commitment to protecting and serving over 1 million residents who call Edmonton home.
