Toonie Talk – Eliminating the ‘Ick’ of Urinary Incontinence with a Twist
Presented by Dr. Cheryl Okoli of Shalom: Eagle’s Wings

Thursday, June 25, 2026 | 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Community Cafe
Free for WE Seniors members, $3.00 for the public

Urinary incontinence (UI) is often seen as an uncomfortable or embarrassing topic, but it is far more common than many people realize — and it should never simply be accepted as a “normal” part of aging.

In this fun, interactive, and educational session, participants will explore common myths and facts about urinary incontinence in both men and women, while learning about possible causes, treatment approaches, and therapeutic solutions that can improve quality of life.

Participants will leave the session with greater understanding, practical knowledge, hope, and an opportunity to have their voices heard through a post-session survey aimed at improving supports for individuals and caregivers affected by urinary incontinence.

Most households rely on one person to manage the financial “system” — from bills and accounts to key contacts and important documents — until someone else needs to step in.

In this session, Jessica introduces a simple 4-part framework to help organize your financial information, making it easier for your family to understand and manage when needed.

Attendees will leave with a clear starting point and a helpful take-home guide to build a more organized and reliable system.
