NSN is a non-profit, charitable organization providing enhanced opportunities for vulnerable adults NSN (North Sask Special Needs) was established in 2002.
In 2003 and 2004, NSN ran a summer recreation program in La Ronge for people with cognitive challenges. In 2004 NSN incorporated, with funding from Mamawetan Churchill River Health Authority. In 2007, NSN was able to hire a part-time Executive Director, as well as two staff to start Scattered Outreach Project (SSOP).
