We had a great end of the year Fun Day filled with fun stations and competitive games! A special thanks to for helping us organize this fun event and to our Home & School Association for covering the cost of our delicious ice cream today straight out of an ice cream truck! 🎯🎳🍦🍨English Montreal School Board

Today, our staff and students wore green in honor of Matteo Palumbi, a cherished former student whose memory continues to inspire our school community. 💚

Parents and Grade 1 children had fun participating in a variety of play-based learning activities during this outdoor play parent workshop with . Parents were introduced to fun sand sensory play, literacy and numeracy games and free play activities that they can easily implement outdoors with their children. Students also loved participating in the sensory literacy game with their parents and peers. Students practiced describing an item using descriptive language (color, shape, function, etc) without telling their peers and parents what it was. Students and parents enjoyed searching through the sand as they tried to find the item being described. They also enjoyed going on a scavenger hunt and searching for different types of flowers and pinecones together!

Kindergarten students had a blast exploring and playing in nature during these play-based learning session with . They were invited to go on a scavenger hunt and search for nature items around them. From exploring pinecones up close using magnifying glasses to taking the measurements of flowers and rocks, students enjoyed all the wonderful discoveries that were made!
