Big emotions are part of growing up and parenting through them can be challenging.
Staying calm, naming emotions, and creating space for your child to feel heard can help build trust and emotional regulation over time.

Setting boundaries is an important part of protecting your mental and emotional well-being.
Boundaries help create clarity in relationships, reduce stress, and allow you to communicate your needs in a healthy and respectful way. They can look different for everyone, whether it’s taking time for yourself, setting limits around responsibilities, or expressing what you need from others.
Learning to set and maintain boundaries is a skill that grows over time.
If you need extra support, FSO’s counselling and programs are here for you.
