🗿Sculpture of the Week: Evolution and the Giraffe’s Neck

Why does the giraffe have such a long neck? Darwin said it was to reach food high in the trees. But a newer theory suggests it might have everything to do with competing for mates.

The truth? Still debated.

This sculpture, made entirely from scrap by Wonder Welders from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a reminder that both science and religion are on the same journey, gradually uncovering what we don't yet fully understand.
