Today is World Hunger Day. A day that shouldn’t exist, an oxymoron to life itself.
We, at the Dalhousie Food Cupboard, service thousands of neighbours in Ottawa. Yet our existence shouldn’t be a necessity to ensure that Canadians don’t go to sleep hungry.
Food is the most basic human right and no one should have to worry about when and where their next meal will come from, but many do, 1 in 4 Canadians to be exact.
Be the change, help us fight food insecurity, and head to the link in bio to donate or apply to become a volunteer!
