🏆 Now that the FIFA World Cup has begun, millions of people are watching athletes perform under immense pressure.
We all experience pressure, but when does it help performance, and when does it get in the way?
In case you missed it, we spoke with Poppy Desclouds earlier this year about how pressure can influence performance and wellbeing, both within and outside of sports.

We're still beaming after last week's Global Leadership Exchange! 🤗
We co-hosted two Matches alongside incredible partners from Canada and beyond, exploring:
👉What it takes to advance integrated mental health and substance use health care
👉Practical approaches and tools for intermediary organizations to measure and demonstrate their impact
Conversations were grounded in shared experience and curiosity, and it was a joy to connect with so many peers at our booth.
A big thank you to everyone who participated! We look forward to continuing the work that started during these Matches.

Quality improvement (QI) doesn't need to happen in isolation. It works best when we learn from each other.
We support child and youth mental health and substance use health agencies in building their QI capacity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, through our Quest program. 📈
At a recent cohort check-in, participants shared that peer learning and connection has helped them spark new ideas, build relationships, and feel less alone in their QI work.

“Peer support isn't just about helping. I believe it's about how we all show up for one another, and that youth engagement is what turns support into authentic and meaningful partnerships.”
That's how our colleague Christina wrapped up our presentation yesterday at the Power of Peer Support Conference in Ottawa.
Together, she and Kelli spoke about youth engagement and the pillars of peer support, highlighting our quality standard for youth engagement and practical tools such as our engagement traffic light. 🚦
We're here all day today too—come say hi! 👋

To start addressing this gap, we worked with Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion and Public Health Ontario to bring together experts from across Ontario for two collaborative meetings.
