June 21, 2026 is the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day. It's a time to recognize the traditions, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit & Métis. Today, we honour and celebrate Indigenous Peoples for their valuable and vibrant impact on our communities and champion their inclusion in conversations around mental health and well-being.
New this year, National Indigenous Peoples Day is illustrated by three symbols: a feather, a narwhal, and a fiddle. Each represents the distinct cultures of First Nations, Inuit, & Métis communities, brought together in a circular flowing composition to reflect the connection between the groups.

As we approach Father's Day weekend, we would like to recognize International Men's Health Month and highlight the important work being done by the Government of Canada to better understand the factors that influence the health and well-being of men and boys. These factors include mental health, social connection, employment, education, and other key social determinants of health.
Mental health is an essential part of overall health for everyone. At Youthdale, we are committed to supporting the well-being and healthy development of all individuals, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We believe that fostering inclusive, compassionate, and supportive environments helps create stronger, healthier futures for everyone.

This year's National AccessAbility Week theme is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada." It invites all of us, including governments, businesses, organizations, and individuals, to take action to advance a barrier-free country. Significant progress has been made to eliminate and prevent barriers, and by continuing to work together, we can build a truly accessible, inclusive and equitable Canada.
Our country is stronger when persons with disabilities can participate fully in all aspects of society. Together, we can empower each other and make a meaningful impact.
