Every day, hospital support workers bring their skills and energy to our public hospitals – going the extra mile to give patients care, compassion and comfort.

Their expertise and dedication are vital to Ontario hospitals. Yet, like so many health care workers, they are overworked and understaffed, bearing the brunt of years of government underfunding.

This week, we celebrate their contributions and recommit to the fight for the health care system that workers and Ontarians deserve.

The Ottawa Raging Grannies are part of a one-day call to action by 350.org, described as a national mobilization: “People across the country will head to their MPs office and call on them to sign an MOU with the people — a deal to protect our communities, our climate, and our future. We’re calling it the People’s MOU Day of Action.”
Please come out to sing with us about “no more pipelines”!
