Calm water can turn risky in an instant.

Swim when lifeguards are on duty. Look for the red-over-yellow flags to know you’re in a supervised zone.

Stay within arm’s reach of children. Kids move fast and staying close means you’re ready to help, even before they ask.

Always swim with a friend or let someone know where you are going to be.
