To properly mark this incredible milestone, we have put together an amazing show, featuring, live and in-person:
✨ Music from The Winnipeg Jewish Folk Choir, Sarena Sairan and David Wall (The Shandes)
✨ An amazing list of guest speakers, who will help celebrate UJPO’s legacy
✨ Members of the Palestine Content Advisory Network of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, who will discuss the upcoming, historic Nakba exhibit.
✨A sneak preview of Saul Henteleff’s fascinating new documentary film on the history of women and UJPO
And
✨ starting at 6:00pm, a fascinating guided tour of the Ukranian Labour Temple, featuring an in depth look at the history of Winnipeg’s progressive communities

Naivelt Music Week: Sunday July 5th – Saturday July 11th, 2026 🎶🎷🎻

Camp Naivelt welcomes back Martin van de Ven to facilitate Naivelt Music Week, with returning faculty Yoshi Maclear-Wall, Arie Verheul-van de Ven and Jessica Deutch, as well as special guests Christina Crowder and Marilyn Lerner

Music Week offers something for everyone! During the week we will work in small ensembles and a large group, learning Klezmer, Jazz, and Folk tunes. Singers can participate in the Naivelt choir, and will join the band for the concerts. There will be a variety of music workshops, talks and jam sessions in the evenings. 

All ages and abilities of players and singers are welcome!
