A wonderful milestone to celebrate this Seniors Month!☀️

Today, SPLC was pleased to host Minister Raymond Cho .raymondcho and MPP Aris Babikian for a meaningful visit with our members, highlighted by the presentation of an essential operational funding to keep our Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) programs running.

From active wellness exercises to shared conversations, our seniors showed our guests exactly what healthy, culturally inclusive aging looks like.

As our Executive Director Diane Duncan shared today, this baseline provincial investment is vital to ensuring our Scarborough seniors can live with dignity. With the demand for specialized seniors' services continuing to rise across Scarborough, ongoing and increased community investment will always be essential to expanding our reach and deepening our impact.

A big thank you to our provincial officials for their time, and to our amazing seniors for lighting up the room today! Swipe through to see the joy from today's presentation.
