June is National Indigenous History Month; a time for us at MFRC to honour and celebrate the diverse histories, cultures and traditions across Canada. 💚

On June 21, we mark National Indigenous Peoples Day by acknowledging the strength, resilience, and important contributions that Indigenous People continue to make both within our communities and across the country.

At MFRC Summer Camp, every week brings a new adventure; from STEM experiments and baking challenges to outdoor exploration, sports, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Our camps are designed to spark curiosity, encourage confidence, and give children opportunities to learn, play, and grow in a welcoming community environment.☀️💚

A beautiful celebration of care, connection and community 💐

Our Mother’s Day celebration at MFRC brought people together around shared meals, movement, painting, henna, and creative activities. It was a warm evening filled with laughter and moments of joy.

More than anything, it was a chance to celebrate mothers and caregivers in our community.

These moments remind us that community is built in simple, meaningful ways - around a table, in spaces where people feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated 💚
