We had the chance to connect with so many people who all share the same goal: helping our neighbours live well and feel supported wherever they are.

Because great care is never built in isolation. It's built in community. And we are grateful to be part of this one! 💜

Our team showed up for the Hike for Hospice Vaughan, walking alongside families, neighbours, and partners who believe no one should face end-of-life care alone.

We do this because Vaughan is more than where we work. It's our home, and a strong community is one that shows up for one another, rain or shine.

Hospice care and home care share the same purpose: meeting our community members with dignity, comfort, and compassion wherever they call home. Showing up for one is showing up for the other.

Caregiver Spotlight: Meet Linda 💜

Linda is one of our dedicated Personal Support Workers at Opulife, bringing warmth, compassion, and positivity to every client she supports.

She enjoys caregiving because it allows her to make a positive difference in someone’s life every day. What motivates her most is knowing that her care can bring peace of mind, happiness, and dignity to clients and their families.

When working with families, Linda hopes they feel trust, reassurance, and confidence, knowing their loved one is cared for with kindness, respect, and compassion.

For many families, caregivers like Linda make it possible for their loved ones to continue living safely and comfortably at home.

Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with family, relaxing, and listening to music.

Her favourite quote is:

Festa d'Italia always brings our community together, and this year was one to remember. The crowds, the flags, the music, running into friends, and showing off the newest member of our team.

Meet Rosie! Our golden girl and the newest addition to the Opulife care family. She has already won everyone over, including our community!

Honouring where people come from is at the heart of how we care. Culture, family, language, and showing up for each other is not a nice extra for us. It is the whole point. Rosie included.
