من خلال البرنامج، استثمرت الولايات المتحدة من 2006 في شباب واعد من الرواد من مختلف أنحاء الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، عن طريق التكفل الكامل بالمصروفات الدراسية والتعليمية واتاحة فرص لتنمية مهارات الريادة والتدريب المهني وفرصة الدارسة في امريكا لمدة سيمستر.

والجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة بتوفر بيئة تعليمية مميزة بتدي الشباب مساحة يطوروا نفسهم ويكتشفوا مواهبهم ويوسعوا آفاقهم الأكاديمية والثقافية.

ومع المجموعة دي من الرواد، مستقبل الاستقرار والازدهار والسلام في منطقة الشرق الأوسط الأوسع باين إنه واعد ومشرق جدًا.

Congratulations to the Tomorrow’s Leaders Class of 2026! 🎓

Through this program, the United States has invested since 2006 in promising young leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa through a fully funded program covering tuition and related educational expenses, along with leadership development, professional training, and the opportunity to spend a semester studying in the United States. AUC The American University in Cairo provides a dynamic learning environment where these young leaders can develop their talents and broaden their academic and cultural horizons.

The future for stability, prosperity, and peace in the broader Middle East looks very bright because of these Tomorrow's Leaders Programs AUC!

🇺🇸✨ احتفالًا بشهر التراث اليهودي الأمريكي ✨🇺🇸

في شهر مايو بنحتفل بعدد من الشخصيات اليهودية الأمريكية من اصول مصرية واللي نقلوا معاهم جزء من التراث الثقافي المصري إلى الولايات المتحدة وساهموا في تشكيل الصحافة والأدب والحياة العامة الأمريكية.

الحاخام حاييم موسى دويك: آخر حاخام أكبر في مصر وانتقل إلى بروكلين في نيويورك سنة 1972 وهناك واصل دعمه ودفاعه عن المجتمعات اليهودية في مختلف أنحاء الشرق الأوسط.

لوسيت لنيادو: اتولدت في القاهرة وهاجرت إلى الولايات المتحدة وبقت صحفية وكاتبة أمريكية حائزة على جائزة بوليتزر. ومن خلال مذكراتها المشهورة "الرجل الذي يرتدي بدلة جلد القرش الأبيض" عرّفت الجمهور الأمريكي على تجارب المجتمع اليهودي في مصر.

أندريه أكيمان: اتولد في الإسكندرية من عائلة يهودية وكانوا مرتبطين جداً بالحياة الثقافية في المدينة وبعدها سافر وأستقر في الولايات المتحدة وبقي أكاديمي وروائي أمريكي بارز جداً ومعروف بأعماله اللي تناولت الذاكرة والمنفى والهوية المتوسطية.

ريتشارد بن كرامر: بترجع أصول عائلته إلى الجالية اليهودية المصرية وبقي واحد من أبرز الصحفيين والكتّاب في الولايات المتحدة واشتهر بكتاباته المؤثرة عن السياسة الأمريكية.

قصصهم الملهمة بتعكس تاريخ مصر الطويل من التراث اليهودي والروابط المستمرة بين مصر والولايات المتحدة.

🇺🇸✨ Celebrating Jewish American Heritage Month ✨🇺🇸

This May we celebrated several Jewish-Americans with Egyptian roots who have carried pieces of Egypt’s rich cultural heritage with them to the United States, helping shape American journalism, literature, and public life.
Rabbi Haim Moussa Douek, the last chief rabbi of Egypt, moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 1972 where he advocated for Jewish communities across the Middle East.

Lucette Lagnado was born in Cairo before emigrating to the United States, where she became a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author. Through her acclaimed memoir The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit, she introduced American audiences to the experiences of Egypt’s Jewish community.

André Aciman was born in Alexandria to a Jewish family deeply connected to the city’s cultural life before settling in the United States and becoming a prominent American academic and novelist known for exploring memory, exile, and Mediterranean identity in his work.

Richard Ben Cramer, whose family traced roots to the Egyptian Jewish diaspora, became one of America’s most influential journalists and authors, widely recognized for his impactful writing on American politics.

Their stories reflect Egypt’s long history of Jewish heritage and the enduring connections between Egypt and the United States.

يسعدنا أن نشهد توسّع شبكة مصر للطيران لتشمل وجهات جديدة في الولايات المتحدة، مع انطلاق رحلتها الافتتاحية اليوم إلى لوس أنجلوس، واستعدادها لإطلاق خطها الجديد إلى شيكاجو قريبًا. وتُعدّ لوس أنجلوس بوابة رئيسية إلى الساحل الغربي الأمريكي، وهذا الخط الجديد سيعزّز الروابط بين مصر وإحدى أكثر المناطق الأمريكية حيويةً وتنوّعًا. كما ستفتح هذه الرحلات آفاقًا أوسع للتواصل والتبادل أمام المسافرين وقطاع الأعمال في كلا البلدين. كل الشكر للكابتن أحمد عادل وفريق مصر للطيران على تعاونهم وجهودهم في تحقيق هذه الخطوة المهمة.

Very glad to see EGYPTAIR expanding its routes to more destinations in the United States, including today’s inaugural flight to Los Angeles and the upcoming route to Chicago. Los Angeles serves as a vital gateway to the western United States, and this new route will enhance connectivity between Egypt and one of America's most dynamic regions. These expanded air links will create new connectivity opportunities for travelers and businesses in both our nations.
