အဆိုပါ ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်ကွန်ဗင်းရှင်းအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများ၏ အထွေထွေညီလာခံအတွင်း ၂၀၂၆-၂၀၃၀ သက်တမ်းအတွက် လစ်လပ်လျက်ရှိသော အစိုးရချင်းဆိုင်ရာ ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှု အမွေအနှစ် ကော်မတီဝင်များ၏ လစ်လပ်နေရာအတွက် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခြင်း၊ အစိုးရ မဟုတ်သော အဖွဲ့အစည်းများကို ကော်မတီ၏ အကြံပေးများအဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်ရန် အသိအမှတ်ပြုရေး ကိစ္စများဆွေးနွေးခြင်း၊ ကွန်ဗင်းရှင်းအကောင်အထည်ဖော်မှုဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ငန်းလမ်းညွှန်ချက်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခြင်း၊ ICH Fund အသုံးပြုမှုနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ ဆွေးနွေးခြင်းတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

ထို့အပြင် မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့အနေဖြင့် ညီလာခံကာလအတွင်း ဗီယက်နမ် ဒုတိယနိုင်ငံခြားရေး ဝန်ကြီးနှင့် ယူနက်စကိုဆိုင်ရာ အမျိုးသားကော်မရှင်ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ H.E. Mr. Ngo Le Van ချီးမြှင့် တက်ရောက် ဖွင့်လှစ်သော ယူနက်စကိုဆိုင်ရာ ဗီယက်နမ်အမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံးမှ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် ဗီလက်နမ်နိုင်ငံ၏ ပထမဆုံးတက္ကသိုလ် “The Temple of Literature” (၁၀၇၆-၂၀၂၆) တည်ထောင်ခြင်း နှစ် (၉၅၀) ပြည့် အခမ်းအနားသို့လည်း ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်များထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရေးကွန်ဗင်းရှင်းကို လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းအတွင်း ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်များအား အသိအမှတ်ပြုသော အလေ့အကျင့်များ၊ ကိုယ်စားပြုမှုများ၊ အသိပညာ နှင့် ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်၍ (၃၂) ကြိမ်မြောက် ယူနက်စကို အထွေထွေ ညီလာခံမှ ၂၀၀၃ ခုနှစ် အောက်တိုဘာလ ၁၇ ရက်တွင် စတင်အတည်ပြုခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်အထိ ကွန်ဗင်းရှင်းကို အတည်ပြုလက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးထားသည့်အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံပေါင်း (၁၈၅) နိုင်ငံအထိ ရှိလာပြီ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်များထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရေးကွန်ဗင်းရှင်း အရ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်တွင် မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာအတာသင်္ကြန်ပွဲတော်ကို ယူနက်စကို၏ ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ် စာရင်းသို့ အောင်မြင်စွာထည့်သွင်းနိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်အတွက် “မြန်မာ့သနပ်ခါး ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဓလေ့” ကို လည်းကောင်း၊ ၂၀၂၇ ခုနှစ်အတွက် “မြန်မာ့လက်ဖက်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဓလေ့” ကို လည်းကောင်း ယူနက်စကို ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်စာရင်းသို့ အဆိုပြုတင်သွင်းထားကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Ambassador/ Chargé d'Affaires attends the 11th Session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

The 11th Session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, and attended by the Myanmar delegation led by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d'Affaires/ Ambassador of the Myanmar Embassy/Permanent Delegation to UNESCO in Paris.

During the Session, elections were held to fill the vacant seats on the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage for the 2026-2030 term. Discussions were also held on the accreditation of non-governmental organizations to act in an advisory capacity to the Committee, the operational directives for the implementation of the Convention, and the use of the resources of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Fund.

In addition, the Myanmar delegation also participated in the ceremony commemorating the 950th anniversary of the foundation of “The Temple of Literature”, Viet Nam’s first University (1076-2026), which was organized by the Permanent Delegation of Viet Nam to UNESCO and graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Ngo Le Van, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Viet Nam National Commission for UNESCO

The Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was adopted at the 32nd Session of the UNESCO General Conference on 17 October 2003 with the aim of safeguarding practices, representations, expressions, knowledge and skills that communities, groups and in some cases, individuals recognize as part of their cultural heritage. As of 2025, the Convention has been ratified by 185 States Parties.

Myanmar, as a State Party to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, successfully secured the inscription of “Myanmar traditional New Year Atā Thingyan Festival” on the UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2024. In addition, Myanmar has submitted “Practice of Thanakha Culture in Myanmar”, for inscription on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for the 2026 cycle, as well as “Myanmar Laphet (Fermented Tea Leaves) Culture” for the 2027 cycle.

Myanmar Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador Visits Rungis International Market in Paris

Mr. Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador of the Myanmar Embassy in Paris, visited Rungis International Market, the world's largest wholesale market for food and ag-ricultural products located in Paris, alongside Ambassadors, Deputy Chiefs of Mission, and Economic Attachés from several other ASEAN embassies on 17 June, 2026.
The study tour organized by the Rungis International Market aimed to introduce its opera-tions and functions as a critical cornerstone of France's food distribution and supply chain, as well as a central hub within the international trade network.
During the tour, the delegation visited the fish and seafood market, meat market, fruit and vegetable market, cheese and dairy products market, flower and plant market, and the ready-to-distribute packaged food products department, where daily operations were ex-plained. Following the tour, Mr. Stéphane Layani, Chairman and CEO of Rungis Interna-tional Market, hosted a breakfast meeting.
Spanning 234 hectares, Rungis International Market is a major international market that distributes fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, seafood, dairy products, flowers/plants, and food items imported from around the world to France and other European countries. Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador attends International Vesak Day Celebration organized by the International Buddhist Council of France

The International Vesak Day Celebration, organized by the International Buddhist Council of France (CBIF), was held at the Salon d'Honneur of the Hôtel de Ville de Bobigny in Bobigny at 2:00 p.m. on 7 June 2026 and attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Paris as the Chief Guest.
The celebration brought together venerable Buddhist monks from various Buddhist Associations of Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, and Vietnam as well as the Ambassador of Laos, Mr. Kalamoungkhoune Souohanoivong, the Mayor of Bobigny Mr. Abdel Sadi, alongside members of the Buddhist community and families of the Myanmar Embassy in France.

The spiritual program commenced with paying homage to the Buddha, a traditional candle-lighting ceremony, the hoisting of the Buddhist flag symbolizing world peace, and the ritual bathing of the Buddha statue.

Following the Dhamma sermons delivered by the venerable monks, invited guests attending the ceremony also delivered remarks. The Myanmar Ambassador also delivered an address, highlighting the profound significance of Vesak Day, which is observed by Buddhists around the world as a sacred occasion observing the Birth, Enlightenment, and Parinibbana of the Buddha. He further emphasized the importance of practicing the Buddha’s teachings in order to promote unity, compassion, and loving-kindness in today’s world.
The event concluded with cultural performances by artists from France and Bangladesh.

IEA သည် ၁၉၇၄ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး ပါရီမြို့တွင် ရုံးစိုက်၍ စွမ်းအင်လုံခြုံရေး၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော စွမ်းအင်အဖြစ်ပြောင်းလဲရေးနှင့် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော စွမ်းအင်စနစ်ဖြစ်ရေးတို့အတွက် အစိုးရများကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးနေသည့် စွမ်းအင်ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုဆိုင်ရာ နိုင်ငံတကာအဖွဲ့အစည်း တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဒေသတွင်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတိုးမြှင့်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ပါရီမြို့ပြင်ပ၌ ၎င်း၏ပထမဆုံး ဒေသဆိုင်ရာပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုစင်တာကို စင်ကာပူမြို့တွင် တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

A working luncheon on Energy Security in Southeast Asia was held on 20 May 2026 between ASEAN Ambassadors and Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). The event was hosted by H.E. Mr. Umej Bhatia, Ambassador of Singapore to France. The luncheon was attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Paris, alongside Ambassadors from other ASEAN Embassies and senior officials from the IEA.
During the luncheon, participants exchanged views on global and regional energy developments, the ongoing energy crisis and its implications for Southeast Asia, ways to further strengthen IEA’s regional cooperation with Southeast Asia, and opportunities to enhance engagement between ASEAN Embassies in Paris and the IEA on energy-related issues.
Established in 1974 and headquartered in Paris, the IEA is a leading international organization dedicated to promoting energy security, the clean energy transition, and sustainable energy systems. To further strengthen its engagement in the region, the IEA recently established its first-ever regional cooperation centre in Singapore in 2025, marking its first official office outside of Paris.
