🇫🇷L’Ambassadeur de Malte en France, S.E. M. Pierre Clive Agius, accompagné de M. Pascal Perez, Consul honoraire de Malte pour les Alpes–Côte d’Azur, a eu le plaisir de rencontrer M. Gabriel Tomatis, Président du Groupe d’amitié parlementaire France-Malte à l’Assemblée nationale.
Cet échange a permis de souligner le rôle primordial de la diplomatie parlementaire qui renforce les liens entre nos deux pays. Malte et la France partagent de nombreux intérêts communs et une même ambition de travailler ensemble sur les grands enjeux européens et méditerranéens. Cette rencontre a confirmé la richesse du partenariat franco-maltais et les multiples opportunités de coopération qui nous unissent.

Din il-laqgħa kkonfermat is-saħħa tas-sħubija bejn Malta u Franza u l-b***a opportunitajiet ta’ kooperazzjoni li jgħaqqduna.

🇬🇧H.E. Mr Pierre Clive Agius, Ambassador of Malta to France, accompanied by Mr Pascal Perez, Honorary Consul of Malta for Alpes–Côte d’Azur, had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Gabriel Tomatis, President of the France-Malta Parliamentary Friendship Group at the French National Assembly.
This meeting highlighted the crucial role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between our two countries. Malta and France share many common interests and a shared ambition to work together on major European and Mediterranean issues. This meeting also reaffirmed the strength of the Franco-Maltese partnership and the numerous opportunities for cooperation that unite us.

🇫🇷Ce week-end, S.E.M. Pierre Clive Agius a eu l’honneur d’assister au départ de la 26ᵉ édition de la prestigieuse régate du Trophée Bailli de Suffren, qui reliera une nouvelle fois les côtes françaises à La Valette, son port d’arrivée emblématique.⛵️

Véritable célébration du patrimoine maritime méditerranéen, cette régate met en lumière les liens profonds qui unissent Malte et la France, deux nations partageant une histoire, des valeurs et une vision commune pour la Méditerranée. 🌊

Une belle célébration de l’amitié franco-maltaise portée par la mer qui nous unit.🇲🇹🤝🇫🇷

🇬🇧H.E. Pierre Clive Agius had the honour of attending the start of the 26th edition of the prestigious Trophée Bailli de Suffren regatta, which once again links the French coast to Valletta, its emblematic finishing port.

A celebration of the Mediterranean’s rich maritime heritage, the regatta highlights the deep ties between Malta and France, two nations that share a common history, values, and vision for the Mediterranean. A wonderful celebration of Franco-Maltese friendship, carried by the sea that unites us.

À l’occasion de cet important moment de mémoire, Malte s’associe à la France pour rendre hommage aux valeurs de liberté, de démocratie et de résilience incarnées par cet événement historique, et honore la mémoire de toutes celles et ceux qui ont contribué à la défense de ces principes.

🇬🇧Today, H.E. Pierre Clive Agius attended the ceremony marking the 86th anniversary of the Call of 18 June 1940.
On this important occasion of remembrance, Malta joins France in honouring the values of freedom, democracy and resilience embodied by this historic moment, and pays tribute to all those who contributed to the defence of these principles.

Il-Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) hija l-organizzazzjoni intergovernattiva responsabbli għas-superviżjoni u r-regolamentazzjoni tal-wirjiet internazzjonali mhux kummerċjali li jdumu aktar minn tliet ġimgħat, magħrufa bħala Expos.

Malta hija onorata li bħalissa għandha l-Presidenza tal-Kumitat Eżekuttiv, li tirrifletti l-impenn kontinwu tagħha għall-kooperazzjoni internazzjonali u d-djalogu globali.

Le Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) est l’organisation intergouvernementale chargée de superviser et de réglementer toutes les expositions internationales non commerciales d’une durée supérieure à trois semaines, communément appelées Expos.

Malte est honorée d’assurer actuellement la présidence du Comité exécutif, témoignant ainsi de son engagement constant en faveur de la coopération internationale et du dialogue mondial.
 
🇬🇧 Today, the Embassy had the pleasure of attending the 178th Session of the BIE General Assembly alongside Ms. Antoinette Catania, who currently serves as the President of the Executive Committee.

The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) is the intergovernmental organisation responsible for overseeing and regulating all international non-commercial exhibitions lasting more than three weeks, commonly known as Expos.

Malta is honoured to currently hold the Presidency of the Executive Committee, reflecting its continued commitment to international cooperation and global dialogue.

🇫🇷L’Ambassade de Malte à Paris adresse ses chaleureuses félicitations à l’artiste maltaise Mixa à l’occasion de l’ouverture de Mixa Galerie à Montcuq, un espace vivant dédié aux échanges artistiques et au dialogue culturel, qui rassemble artistes, habitants et visiteurs. Nous sommes fiers de voir la créativité maltaise enrichir la vie culturelle française et souhaitons à Mixa plein succès dans cette nouvelle aventure.

🇫🇷Aujourd’hui, Malte a participé à l’Appel de Paris pour la solution à deux États, une conférence réunissant des représentants de la société civile israélienne et palestinienne. Par sa participation, Malte a réaffirmé son engagement de longue date en faveur d’une paix juste, globale et durable, fondée sur le dialogue, la diplomatie et la coopération internationale.
Malte remercie la France pour son initiative et pour ses efforts continus visant à promouvoir la paix et le dialogue.

Permezz tal-parteċipazzjoni tagħha, Malta tenniet l-impenn kontinwu tagħha favur paċi ġusta, komprensiva u dejjiema, miksuba permezz tad-djalogu, id-diplomazija u l-kooperazzjoni internazzjonali. 🇬🇧Today, Malta participated in the Paris Call for the Two-State Solution, a conference bringing together Israeli and Palestinian civil society representatives. Through its participation, Malta reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace, achieved through dialogue, diplomacy, and international cooperation. Malta thanks France for its initiative and for its continued efforts to advance peace and foster dialogue.

66e Pèlerinage Militaire International de Malte - Lourdes 🇫🇷

Les Forces armées de Malte 🇲🇹 viennent de participer à la 66e édition du pèlerinage militaire international annuel qui s'est tenu à Lourdes, en France.

Du jeudi 22 au dimanche 24 mai 2026, notre contingent de soldats pèlerins s'est joint à plus de 17 000 autres personnes venues de 40 pays différents pour cet événement profondément significatif. 🙏 Ce pèlerinage offre une occasion unique aux militaires du monde entier de marcher ensemble, d'écouter et de méditer sur le message de fraternité, d'unité et de paix. 🤝

🌊🇲🇹🇫🇷 Les enjeux maritimes occupent une place centrale dans la politique étrangère de Malte. Ils constituent un socle naturel pour le partenariat étroit qu’elle entretient avec la France, acteur majeur de la gouvernance maritime internationale.

À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale des océans , nous célébrons les avancées accomplies ensemble, notamment l’entrée en vigueur du Traité BBNJ en janvier dernier ⚓. Nous réaffirmons également notre engagement en faveur de la protection, de la préservation et de la gestion durable des mers et océans du monde, au bénéfice des générations présentes et futures. 🌎

We also reaffirm our commitment to the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of the world’s seas and oceans for the benefit of present and future generations. 🌎
