Due to the forecast hot weather and in order to protect our collection crews, waste and recycling collections may start earlier than usual next week.
Crews will have the option to begin collections from 5am, so please make sure your bins are presented by this time on your collection day to avoid any missed collections.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we help keep our teams safe during the warm weather.

Great news! Runnymede Borough Council has secured funding to improve the playground at Victory Park, Addlestone — and we need your help to make it the best it can be.
Calling all children!
We want to see your dream playground designs. Pick up a design sheet, visit the playground, and tell us what you would love to see in your new play area.
Parents and carers
We’d also love to hear your views. Please take a few minutes to complete our online survey and help shape the future of the playground.
Please fill in this form: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=OGjc7jyjfEyFYhvUqNTPGC6RCPhqoHpHgzOd1-vn26lUMDZLSENDR1NBRUdJWTBTV0pKVU4wNE9QOC4u&route=shorturl
The engagement period will run for two weeks, so don’t miss your chance to get involved.
Design sheets will be sent to local schools and can be returned to your school from next week. Alternatively, completed designs and forms can be dropped off at Runnymede Civic Offices Reception for collection.

Stakeholder Consultation on the Display of Estate Agent Boards
Some adverts (like estate agent boards) do not currently need Council approval for their display, although the Council can apply to the government to take control of these decisions.
Following resident complaints in Englefield Green and parts of Egham, the Council is considering making an application to government to control the display of residential lettings boards. This would not affect “For Sale” or “Sold” boards.
If approved by government, adverts would not be banned, but the Council would control where they can be displayed.
We would like to hear your views on this matter. To find out more please go to www.runnymede.gov.uk/say/consultations-surveys

We’re in your corner. Football doesn’t cause domestic abuse, but incidents can increase or become more severe around key matches. Domestic abuse crosses the line – it can take many forms and is never acceptable. If you need support, you’re not alone.
