Do you have experience working with children or young people - whether in youth work, education, residential care, policing, probation or fostering - and feel ready for your next challenge?
When a young person goes to court and can’t safely return home, the options are often limited - and too many end up in custody unnecessarily, disrupting their education, relationships and stability.
That’s where Remand Fostering comes in. 💛
Join us at our Remand Fostering drop-in event, this Thursday, to learn more about this specialist fostering role, supporting young people through a difficult and uncertain time with structure, stability and clear boundaries.
Remand carers receive £937.85 per week, alongside specialist training, therapeutic support and guidance from a multi-agency team... so you won’t be doing this alone.

A 15-year-old walks into a foster home for the first time.
Head down. Hood up. No eye contact.
A few weeks later, they’re sitting at the table, talking, settling into a routine, starting to feel more like themselves.
This is a very different side of fostering in Birmingham - one that most people don’t realise exists.
It’s called Remand Fostering.
