Behind every family we walk alongside, there is a team of caring people who are here to listen.

At our Acacia centre in Walmley, our team creates a safe, welcoming space where parents can come as they are — whether they need a listening ear, a little reassurance, or someone who understands.

We know that reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to carry everything alone. Our team is here with kindness, compassion, and understanding. 💛

The one question we get asked most is...

"Why do other parents seem to be coping so much better?"

It’s easy to look around, or scroll through social media and feel like everyone else has parenthood figured out.

But parenting isn’t always picture perfect.

Behind the scenes, many parents are exhausted, overwhelmed and feeling broken.

Adjusting to life as a parent is a huge change, and it’s completely normal to find it difficult at times.

You are not alone.

Last week, our wonderful team member Yvonne attended an antenatal clinic at Birmingham Women's Hospital and Charity, meeting expectant parents and raising awareness of the support Acacia provides for maternal mental health and emotional wellbeing.

It was a great opportunity to meet families early in their journey and share the support available during pregnancy and beyond 💜
