πŸ’› Meet the people behind Acacia πŸ’›

Behind every family we walk alongside, there is a team of caring people who are here to listen.

At our Acacia centre in Walmley, our team creates a safe, welcoming space where parents can come as they are β€” whether they need a listening ear, a little reassurance, or someone who understands.

We know that reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to carry everything alone. Our team is here with kindness, compassion, and understanding. πŸ’›

Behind the scenes, many parents are exhausted, overwhelmed and feeling broken.

Adjusting to life as a parent is a huge change, and it’s completely normal to find it difficult at times.

You are not alone.

So many parents share these feelings, even if they don’t always talk about them.

Being honest about how you’re feeling can really help πŸ’›

Last week, our wonderful team member Yvonne attended an antenatal clinic at Birmingham Women's Hospital and Charity, meeting expectant parents and raising awareness of the support Acacia provides for maternal mental health and emotional wellbeing.

It was a great opportunity to meet families early in their journey and share the support available during pregnancy and beyond πŸ’œ
