This week, our Dementia Carers Together group celebrated Carers Week and recognised the vital role unpaid carers play in supporting loved ones living with dementia.
Facilitated by Pat, our Lead Dementia Support Worker, the group offers a safe and supportive space where carers can connect with others who understand their experiences, access information and guidance, and take time to focus on their own wellbeing.
As part of the session, carers received a keepsake card featuring the quote: “I didn’t choose this journey, but I choose to walk it with love every day.”
A powerful reminder of the strength, compassion and resilience carers show every single day.

We’re proud to have donated £2,000 to Friends of Redland School in Chippenham to help resurface the school’s Daily Mile track. 💰
The Daily Mile is a national initiative which encourages primary aged children to walk one mile a day at school to improve their health and wellbeing.
The refurbishment will make the track safe to use for all pupils, including wheelchair users, and create new opportunities for community events.

Our monthly performance figures are in for May.
We publish our performance so our customers, stakeholders and colleagues can see how we’re delivering on the things that matter most to our customers.
Some of the highlights from our May performance infographic include:
• Customer satisfaction with our Contact Centre hit our 82% target for the sixth month in a row
• We completed 97% of emergency repairs within 24 hours
• 92% of customers were satisfied with our repairs service

We were delighted to present two of our customers with Love2Shop vouchers this month.
These winners were entered into our prize draw for giving us access the first time we attended their gas or electrical safety check.
These inspections help us keep customers safe in their homes. And when we’re able to carry them out as planned, it helps us save time and money, so we can do more repairs and support more customers.
We look forward to seeing who wins next month 🎉

June is and we’re committed to supporting our LGBTQ+ customers to ensure they feel safe and respected in their homes and communities. 🏳️🌈
Signing the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge in 2025 has strengthened how we induct our colleagues, embedding clearer, more practical EDI expectations so we consistently deliver a fair and inclusive experience for the people we serve.
To further show our support, a group of GSA colleagues and customer panel members marched in the parade last weekend, a joyful celebration and powerful reminder of the ongoing journey for equality.
