It’s been lovely meeting so many residents while we are out campaigning in every part of Fareham.

We have a unique 27-year record of standing up for Fareham, working all year round on our local Councils.

InTouch has been popping through local doors, four times a year, since 1985, keeping local residents informed of council decisions and important news updates.

You see the Conservatives all year, every year, working for you.

Across Fareham, you will only see the other parties when they want your vote.

The Liberal Democrats have been making a lot of noise about MPs and Councillors switching parties.

But residents might ask them why they still support Mr. Prad Bains, known by his own council colleagues as “The Greediest Councillor in Hampshire”.

Mr. Bains was elected as a Conservative Councillor for Cowplain & Hart Plain in May 2021.

Mr. Bains switched parties in order to pursue selection as a Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate in Fareham, to stand in the Police and Crime Commissioner election across Hampshire, and even to contest a by-election in Eastleigh.

Has he resigned his County Council seat to seek a fresh mandate from residents following that change in political direction as the Liberal Democrats demand others do? No. He remains the County Councillor for Cowplain and Hart Plain to this day despite moving 20 miles away!

Mr. Bains also continues to claim over £30k per year in taxpayer-funded allowances.

Why is it one rule for the Liberal Democrats, and another for everyone else?

A great morning canvassing for Cllr Simon Martin and Cllr Joanne Burton in Park Gate. We had positive conversations with hundreds of people, spreading the good news about the Zebra Crossings that were obtained thanks to a campaign led by Simon and Joanne.
