This April, Archie Dinnage, one of our dedicated Adult Volunteers, is taking on the iconic London Marathon and raising money for four charities close to his heart - including the Volunteer Cadet Corps.
Born almost 10 weeks prematurely and facing several health challenges growing up, running was something Archie always avoided. But through the support, encouragement and opportunities provided by the VCC and the Lord’s Taverners Super 1s cricket programme, Archie has built incredible resilience and confidence.
From completing his Gold The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to becoming a brown belt in karate, Archie continues to push himself to achieve more - and the marathon is his biggest challenge yet.
