“For me, it’s magic.” When local women shared the barriers they faced to improving their health, The Lauda Project listened.

The result was a welcoming women-only fitness group at St Dunstan's Church, Liverpool, where women could exercise, make friends and take time for themselves. From improving physical health to reducing isolation and boosting wellbeing, the impact has been remarkable.

Our latest Story of Kindness celebrates the volunteers and community leaders making a difference through the Network of Kindness during Volunteers' Week. Watch the video and see how this simple idea is helping women thrive 🤸‍♀️🧡

“I go home skipping!” That’s what one regular guest said about the Places of Welcome café at Christ Church Norris Green, run by Triple C Liverpool - and it says it all.

A simple cup of tea, a friendly face, and a space where people of all ages can sit together, talk, and feel at home. It’s helping to ease loneliness and build real community.

Our Stories of Kindness series is celebrating the amazing volunteers across the Network of Kindness during Volunteers' Week. Watch the video to see kindness in action ☕🧡🙏

Happy Volunteers' Week! Our latest Story of Kindness shines a light on Café 46, a dementia-friendly café run by amazing volunteers at St Gabriel’s Church in Huyton Quarry.

The café provides a safe and welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers to connect over conversation, games, and creative activities.

It was launched following conversations within the church community about how they could better support local people. The church also took part in Together Liverpool’s Learning Communities programme, which supports the development of social action projects.

It was brilliant to see hundreds of people engaging with the Manifesto for Hope themes during this year’s Pentecost celebration: Many Voices – One Faith.

Around 700 people joined the walk between Liverpool’s two Cathedrals, celebrating unity, partnership and shared faith across our City Region. We were proud to be one of nine organisations hosting stalls representing the nine Manifesto for Hope priorities, alongside partners from across the region and in collaboration with Churches Together in the Merseyside Region.
