Costume designer Holly moved to Liverpool for a temporary job… and never left.

The city gave her room to grow and from that came Unit 27 — a costume archive and creative hub built with flexibility, community and craft at its core.

Today it supports productions, students and emerging creatives across Liverpool. A space made by a designer, for designers ✂️✨

It was great to be a part of the Liverpool Welcomes Europe (LWE) event which saw European leaders, ambassadors and partners welcomed to the city.

LWE showcased culture and creativity to innovation, business and net zero, showcasing the best Liverpool has to offer!

As part of this we took a selection of delegates to our purpose built stages The Depot after a screening of our 35th anniversary showreel plus hearing from our Production Services Manager Kevin Bell & at St George's Hall

They also took part in a special film tour across some of our key filming locations with Gary Lunt from Reel Tours 🫶👏🏻

It’s an honour to have received the very first Excellence in Film and TV Award for LCR Production Fund at year’s

The LCR Production Fund exists to champion bold stories, support local talent and help put the Liverpool City Region firmly on the global screen - we hope our team does just that.

First look at James Nelson-Joyce back as Michael Kavanagh in This City Is Ours series 2 👀

So what will series 2 cover? Having barely arrived in Spain, we see Michael and Diana (Hannah Onslow) pulled back into the fold to answer questions around Ricardo’s death.

No date has been set for the new series but it will be on BBC iPlayer and BBC One later this year! 🤩

After recently making the move to set up shop in Liverpool, following the increase in demand, Notorious DIT provide a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) and dailies service across the UK and beyond!

The company’s Liverpool credits include Untold: Liverpool’s Miracle of Istanbul and Dexter Proctor, while its lab continues to support productions across the UK.
