A few weeks ago at Northern Exposure, hosted by Headquarters North , we saw something special.
Employer Recognition Scheme businesses stepping out of their comfort zones, getting involved in military activities, asking questions, building connections and really understanding what it means to support our Armed Forces.
This video captures it better than we ever could.
And now, as we announce our Silver Award winners, it feels like the perfect moment to reflect.
Because this is where it starts. Experiences like this that spark something bigger.
To all our Silver Award organisations, to all our ERS organisations, thank you for going further in your support. We’re proud to have you alongside us.
Take a look at what it’s all about

Creating spaces where conversations can change lives.
Congratulations to Mentell one of this year’s Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award winners.
Through their “We Still Need You” programme, Mentell is helping veterans reconnect, access mental health support and use the skills developed through service to support other men in their communities. 🇬🇧
Matt, Project Manager for the programme, said:
“We are delighted and honoured to receive the Silver Award... We are committed to providing opportunities for veterans to access mental health support and receive professional training in peer-to-peer facilitation."
The photos from their annual retreat perfectly capture the power of connection, community and knowing that nobody has to struggle alone.

As Pride Month begins, we’re taking a moment to recognise the strength that comes from diversity across the Armed Forces family and here at NW RFCA.
From our Cadet Forces and Reservists to our staff and wider community, people from all backgrounds, identities and experiences stand side by side. That’s something we’re proud of.
Pride is about visibility, inclusion and continuing to move forward together.
To those who serve, support and show up as their authentic selves, we see you, we value you and we stand with you. 🏳️🌈

Big things are taking shape in Sandbach 👀
We’re developing a brand new cadet hut that will bring together the Army Cadet Force and RAF Air Cadets in a modern, purpose built training space designed to support the next generation.
This is a real investment in young people, giving them the space, facilities and environment they deserve to grow in confidence, skills and opportunity.
We’re proud to be delivering projects like this across the North West and look forward to sharing more as it progresses.
Look out for future updates on this exciting new project delivered by NWRFCA in support of the British Army Reserve Estate Optimisation Program.
