Live in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton or Wirral? Please keep bagged waste out of the household recycling bin. Even if the bag contains recyclable items, it cannot be separated at the recycling facility meaning it has to be removed and disposed of.

Batteries are the leading cause of fires in bins 🔥
Next time you have batteries to get rid of, stop and think because you could be putting real people in danger when your bin is collected.
Instead recycle them safely at a Recycling Centre or large shop.
