The Y11 team will be taking advantage of the warm weather again and selling ice lollies to fundraise for the leavers celebration tomorrow and on Friday. Students should look out for the stall at lunchtime!

🍧Y11 will be hosting an ice lolly sale tomorrow to help raise funds for their Leavers Celebration. Available to students during lunchtime for just 50p a lolly. Remind your child to bring cash. Every purchase brings us one step closer to making the event a memorable night for our leavers!

Yesterday's Personal Development lessons covered a range of topics including trade unions, savings accounts and human rights. Students engaged well with the subject themes.

Last night the first cohort of our students to finish the new Media, Broadcast and Production T Level showcased their outstanding work at a special celebration event which featured live music, awards and their short films. Thank you to all our industry partners that have made this course possible!

Last term the new Y11s had the opportunity of watching Romeo and Juliet on stage at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The play is part of their English Literature GCSE studies and the trip was a great way to deepen the students' understanding of the classic work.

On Wednesday, Acland Burghley musicians and dancers performed alongside the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in the OAE Life of the Sea opera at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the Southbank Centre. A group of Y7 and Y8 students attended the Super League Basketball finals just before the end of term last month. They enjoyed watching both the women’s and men’s finals at the O2 arena.
