The event was a beautiful celebration of 40 Years of Connection, Culture & Community, filled with joyous connections and rich cultural expressions. It served as a perfect reminder of the incredible friendships we’ve built over the years.

As a big supporter of FIWAL, Ulviyya highlighted that both she and FIWAL were born in the same year 1986, marking the start of an empowering journey.

‼️WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN‼️

The recent gathering of the Azerbaijani community in the UK was an inspiring event, held on May 24, 2026, at the Hilton London Kensington. It brought together members of the diaspora, local clubs, and organizations dedicated to fostering connections and supporting Azerbaijani culture abroad.

Event Highlights:
- A Warm Welcome: A heartfelt acknowledgment was given to the diaspora clubs, the Diaspora Committee, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan for their continuous support in organizing various events that strengthen community ties.

- Cultural Performance: A standout moment of the evening was the performance by the talented musicians including Vusala Babayeva and Emiliya Yagubova. Both are members of association. The event was closed by Emin Eminzada and Vusala Babayeva performing together legendary “Azerbaijan” composition. The Karabagh choir performed variety of the national songs and Tərəkkəmə dance.

- Community Engagement: The event served as a platform for networking, celebrating Azerbaijani culture, and fostering a sense of belonging among community members.
