Our Cllr Dan Holden enjoyed visiting the Sacred Heart Feast Day event at Sacred Heart Church on Edge Hill.
Huge numbers of the church community were there, with lots of activities, food & drink.

Daniel particularly enjoyed the strawberry sponge cake.

Our Cllr Daniel Holden (along with Cllr Jan Comer, newly elected in Village) attended the Edge Hill Area Residents Association tonight, hosted in the church hall on Edge Hill, Wimbledon.

This is one of several residents associations within Hillside (& Village), who help keep the community and area nice, and we councillors support them in their efforts.

We would encourage those living on Edge Hill, Darlaston Road, Worple Avenue and bits of Worple linking these roads, to join up.

We can put you in touch with the chair of the group, just drop us a line at [email protected]

Residents on Southdown Road were unfairly given parking fines. I managed to get 42 fines of these cancelled.

If this happens to you in another area, please do get in touch and I will help you out.

The mill has a brake wheel with around 60 wooden cogs. 🦷

Sixty individual pieces of wood, working together to transfer the energy of the wind into the grinding of grain.

No electricity. No circuit boards. Just geometry, timber, and wind.

Engineering has always been beautiful.
