This week is Loneliness Awareness Week, and we wanted to highlight an activity that brings joy and conection to our home every single week: Songs & Smiles by !
We all know that loneliness can affect anyone. However for older people in the UK, the risk of experiencing severe loneliness higher than other age group.
We are doing what we can to make sure our residents don't feel lonely - which is where intergenerational activities come in!
When the babies, toddlers and grown-ups visit each week for Songs & Smiles, the residents light up. Age gaps disappear and the magic of connection takes over.
We are so proud to partnership with to tackle lonelines s one song and smile at a time.

We had a day filled with exciting activities, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon's entertainment, courtesy of the esteemed Jamie Steene, who once again provided us with a truly outstanding afternoon.

It is another delightful morning filled with music, joy with the songs & smiles "together project" this morning. Residents, children, and parents are fostering enduring relationships.

I had the privilege of escorting Johanna and Anthony to church this morning. Following the rather extended service, a selection of beverages and lunch was prepared for our return.

We had another delightful morning with Reverend Ruth, who continued to enrich our religious beliefs. We all surprised him with our joyous singing today.

Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce the return of the exceptional Jamie Steen to Weybourne, who will be performing a diverse repertoire of artists in celebration of Pride.

It was a delightful afternoon celebrating Marie's birthday. This private gathering with her friends was deeply meaningful to Marie. Happy Birthday Marie 🎂 🥳 🎉

This morning's "Songs and Smiles" session, together project, was a resounding success. Both residents and children derive significant benefits from these sessions, fostering stronger connections with each visit.
