It's almost time for Eye to Eye again!

Eye to Eye is Moorfields Eye Charity's annual walk to raise funds for the future of eye care at Moorfields Eye Hospital. This year it is taking place on Sunday 28 June.

At Friends we are so excited to support by taking part in the walk - and spending our Sunday with each other. You can choose to do 1 mile, 5 miles or a half marathon.

Are you a volunteer and do you want to join our team? Join the 'Friends of Moorfields team' when you sign up (starting time 9 am) or check out our page here:

As Volunteers' Week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible Friends of Moorfields 🌟

Day after day, you give your time, your warmth, and your care to our patients and their families β€” often at moments when a kind word or a friendly face makes all the difference.

Volunteering is one of the most generous things a person can do, and we are so lucky to have you as part of the Moorfields family.

Thank you, Friends of Moorfields . We couldn't do it without you. πŸ’™

Today is International Nurses Day, and we couldn't be prouder of every single nurse on our team here at Moorfields. πŸ’™

Every day, our nurses do so much more than care for eyes β€” they hold hands during anxious moments, guide patients through life-changing procedures, and bring warmth and skill to every single interaction. They are the heartbeat of this hospital.

To our incredible nursing team: thank you. For your compassion. For your dedication. For showing up, day after day, and making a real difference to the people who trust us with their sight. You are extraordinary.
