You will need to show your ticket on entry
You do not need a ticket for children under 4 years

All welcome to join in - there will be a range of activities, music and food.

The theme for Refugee Week is "Courage". This theme honors the resilience and strength of those who have left their homes and their bravery to start again. It respects the everyday actions of individuals and communities who welcome those who seek sanctuary and who imagine and hope for new possibilities together.

Come and join in the celebrations: we have a wide range of activities that you can participate in including jewellery making, planting, calligraphy, get your portrait done, or a poem written for you, create a personalised notebook, enjoy the music, food and drink.

This event has been developed in collaboration between NRPF, Refugee and Migrant Services at Islington Council, Islington Refugee & Migrant Forum and many, many voluntary and community sector organisations and creative individuals - all who are passionate about celebrating this important festival.

Islington is proud to be a Borough of Sanctuary and this event aims to WELCOME everyone: those who have lived in Islington their whole life to those who moved into the borough this year.
